Haemophilus disease is most common in kids under 5 years old who haven't been vaccinated against it. But the bacteria also can infect anyone who didn't get all the Haemophilus shots

Haemopilus spreads  through mucus or saliva. Most infections happen when someone who has the Haemopilus bacteria in his or her nose or throat sneezes or coughs around a person who hasn't been fully vaccinated.
